Ok, so I said I would write more and so here it goes. Today is the first night back at the apartment. Kat and I have been housesitting for my parents. Not a bad gig, but it's just one more mile before I sleep, so to speak. With everything that had gone on over the past couple of weeks all I wanted to do on my days off were burn some aCD's and play some video games, instead I spent the day with Kat washing clothes, cars and cleaning my parents' house and yard. My insomnia is kicking in and I'm waking for long periods of time every couple of hours. Even as I write this all I can think is if I could turn my head off I would sleep.
On a somber note I would like to send my deepest sympathy's to the Rowland family whose son Eric took his own life Friday 8 July. Eric was a fan of the Thundercats and a sweet natured kid.
On a lighter note I wish to welcome Aeryn Jones into this world. Such is the yin and yan of life Aeryn was born Friday 8 July, entering this world at 8lbs and 21 inches long. Here's wishing her all the happiness and beauty this world has to offer.

Just a Note

So it's been a busy couple of weeks with a spontaneous trip to San Fransico for Pride followed by spending this 4th at the Warped Tour in Fresno. I was dissappointed with Warped this year. Not only did Fresno hold it in the parking lot at the Savemart Center but the good acts went first. My Chemical Romance and The Starting Line headlined while Dropkick Murphys, the Transplants and Offspring had all played by 3:30. Not to mention the Horrorpops and Tsunami Bomb didn't even show. Kat and I bailed by early evening, went back to my friend's apartment and napped before getting steaks and drinks and sparklers. Best 4th of July so far. It's late and I'm tired so I will finish this later.
